Function Jigsaw are delighted to announce they will be exclusive massage, sports taping and injury management suppliers to this year’s Leicester Marathon.
The ever-popular event takes place on Sunday October 23 and will be run around the city with a base at Victoria Park.
Over 3,000 competitors are expected to take part in the event which involves both the full and half marathons.
The runners will race to the north of the city with thousands of spectators on hand to cheers on competitors, friends and relatives.
As official partners, Function Jigsaw’s experienced Events team will be available before and after the race to provide the following services:
- Sports K-Taping
- Sports strapping
- Sports massage
- Injury management suggestions.
Our friendly team will be based in the Function Jigsaw tent near the start/finish line.
Runners in need of a warm-down massage or help with pre and post-race taping won’t need to book in either. Just turn up and our therapists will be on hand to help on a pay-as-you-go basis.
We will also be raising money for LOROS on the day to aid the incredible service they provide at the county’s hospice.
Function Jigsaw MD Julie Hayton said she was looking forward to being an official partner of the event for the first time.
“The Leicester Marathon is an iconic event in the county and is growing in popularity every year,” she said.
“Our Events team have had a very busy summer but this will be one of the biggest and busiest days in our calendar.
“All of the team are looking forward to playing a part in what should be a great day for everyone involved.”
