For the past 7 years Function Jigsaw has lived by the core value to “take care of our FJ Family.” This enduring value guides us as we face the challenge of responding to coronavirus (COVID-19).

Our hearts and thoughts go out to people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we greatly appreciate the healthcare workers, local communities, and Governments around the world who are on the front line working to contain this coronavirus. Please know that we are vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation and have precautions in place to ensure a healthy visit to our clinic.

When You Book
You should have confidence if you have an appointment already scheduled, or you book an appointment with us. We are doing everything possible to maintain a heathy environment for you. We are closely monitoring the World Health Organization (WHO), Public Health England (PHE), and local health authorities for the latest developments related to COVID-19 and we are compliant with the guidance of Government and public health officials.

Before Your Appointment
Before your appointment you will receive a confirmation of appointment by email. This email will be compliant with the latest guidance on dealing with Coronavirus from Public Health England, as we have a responsibility to ensure that all patients coming to Function Jigsaw are screened.
In preparation for your attendance, if you should answer “yes” to any of the following questions, please notify us immediately:

– Have you travelled to any of the high-risk countries in the last 14 days? Please see below for information where this list of countries can be found.

– Have you been in contact with any person confirmed as having tested positive for Coronavirus in the last 14 days?

– Do you have any symptoms that might indicate the disease such as a cough, a high temperature, shortness of breath?

Should we feel it necessary the staff at Function jigsaw can assist you in rearranging the appointment for a time post-isolation and/or offer you the opportunity to take advantage of a skype or telephone consultation as detailed below.

Given the impact of COVID-19 on how we all work, socialize and travel, we have been adapting our cancellation policy over the past few weeks to the evolving nature of this epidemic. Today, we are updating our policy to provide our clients with the most flexibility we can offer during these challenging times. For clients with pre-booked appointments we will waive the normal cancellation period if you experience any of the predetermined signs and symptoms of COVID 19 and you advise us on or before the morning of the appointment.

Need help but cannot get to us?
In the event of a cancellation due to illness, or you experience an injury and cannot for some reason attend the clinic we will offer you the opportunity to engage in a skype or telephone consultation directly with the therapist in order to run through an online assessment to allow us to try and help you with specialist advice. There would be a small administrative charge for this which we will advise at the time of offer and would be entirely your decision to engage in this process based on your individual need.

Your Appointment Day
We recognize that the COVID-19 virus has required all of us to be more mindful as we pursue our regular activities. Daily, our clinic is cleaned and sanitised to ensure that it meets the latest guidance from PHE and the WHO on hygiene and cleaning. You will notice increased activity and measures to keep you safe.

Please be aware that all patients will be asked the above questions again when they arrive at Reception and will not be admitted entry if any answers are negative. We may also be required to record your temperature on arrival.
