Physiotherapist is a protected title which means only those who have competed a physiotherapy degree or higher and are registered with the HCPC (Health & Care Professions Council) can work under this title. Here at Function Jigsaw, our Physiotherapists are all registered with the HCPC and CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy) and pride ourselves on being up to date with current research.
Physiotherapists consider the entire body to help promote tissue healing, improve mobility and quality of life and reduce pain and stiffness. This is often achieved through a variety of manual therapy/hands on techniques, exercise prescription, movement, education and advice.
