Friday Night Yoga Class goes down a treat!
While the rest of you were tucking into your dinner, at the pub with your friends, curled up in front of the fire waiting for Coronation Street, Function Jigsaw was packed out with their first Yoga class taster session.
Rich Harrison, well known and very experienced Yoga Instructor ran his first Yoga class hosted in our award winning clinic in Wigston.
“When I left work I didn’t want to see or speak to anyone. Attending the class was the perfect end to a busy week at work, and I feel much more relaxed than before”
Business Owner and Managing Director of Work Design, Matt Tomlin
30 participants in 2 different classes attended a taster session into yoga, most of which was their first time ever.
Initially there was some skeptical faces when entering, but the feedback that was filled out after the event was 100% positive.
With a brilliant insight into the mind and the body and explanations about joint mobility, participants are already booking onto the next class.
“Just maintaining a reasonable amount of strength and flexibility can be seen as a progression as we age.”
You don’t have to be physically fit and able to run a marathon, Yoga can be completed at all different levels, but can have such a big impact on how you feel on a weekly basis.
Yoga can also be a brilliant cross-training exercise for those training for big events this year such as marathons, triathlons, cycling events, rugby tournaments and more.
Function Jigsaw will be hosting Yoga classes starting from Friday 2nd February 6pm, then run fortnightly from this at the same day and time.
