Award-winning business woman, Lizzie Griffin will be the guest speaker at the Leicester Women’s Velo Club night at Function Jigsaw on Thursday 9 March.
The Function Jigsaw clinic in Wigston will welcome riders from the club for an evening of helpful tips, ideas and educational information.
Staff from Function Jigsaw will explain how to warm-up properly, the advantages of foam rolling and how to use them, exercises to help pre and post activity, the benefits of warming-up, functional training ideas and further tips and ideas that MD Julie Hayton and our other therapists have gained from years working with elite athletes and within professional sports environments.
And Lizzie will be joining us on the night to pass on knowledge and ideas she has gained from 11 successful years in the fitness industry.
Personal training business
Working her way up, Lizzie now runs a successful personal training business from her own private facility, Griffin Fit Ltd.
The Leicester-based gym has been open for just over 12 months, and has achieved a highly commended award for being a finalist in the Niche ‘best new business’ category. Lizzie has also received a highly commended award for being a finalist in the young entrepreneur category to cap a fantasic year for the business.
Griffin Fit thrives on results and provides a healthy and friendly environment for clients to train in. That brings a community of like-minded individuals together to achieve impressive and, crucially, sustainable results.
Over the last 12 months, Griffin Fit clients have achieved a combined total of 22 stones in lost weight! And they have the photos to prove it!
