Former Multi National cycling champion Matt Bottrill is taking on one of the biggest challenges of his life.
And when you have spent decades putting your body through the kind of physical demands that would make most adults weep, that is some statement!
The 40-year-old now runs Matt Bottrill Performance Coaching Ltd after spending his cycling career dominating the amateur scene, with 79 national medals, 30 appearances for Great Britain and over 500 race wins.
Matt’s latest high-octane challenge is a six-week journey that has Function Jigsaw pulling his strings.
He is being put through a series of physical and analytical challenges which will make him ache on parts of his body he never even knew could ache.

Launch of the new FJ athletic programme
Then, on May 11, at Function Jigsaw’s HQ in Wigston, we will be revealing all! Matt will be here to explain why he has been putting himself through it all and explaining how he has got on.
Function Jigsaw MD, Julie Hayton and performance consultant Dave Clarke will be explaining the testing protocols used to analyse Matt’s physical baseline data. He will be bidding to maximise his overall athletic performance in order to maximize his transition to triathlon. We will also be presenting the re-test data.
Julie and Dave will also be explain how utilising this data can create programs to enhance any athlete’s athletic performance and reduce injury. Matt, Julie and Dave will hold a question and answer session to end the evening.
