Function Jigsaw formally launched its Fit for Industry campaign at the Love Business Conference.
Exhibiting at the Racecourse in Castle Donington, Leicestershire, the team met dozens of interested companies who wanted to find out more about our campaign to support well-being in the workplace.
Function Jigsaw’s Fit for Industry programme consists of regular massage therapist site visits to the work place or office, coupled with a series of seminars to teach staff the truth about aspects of their daily life.
We believe that by engaging employees and educating them, it will encourage them to make healthier choices that can dramatically affect their ability to cope with stress at work and everyday life.
Improving productivity in the workplace
From a business perspective, the Fit for Industry programme can play a major role in improving quality, performance and productivity in the workplace. And, crucially, cut down on the amount of days lost to stress-related illness.
While the mobile massage chair brings obvious benefits for staff in terms of making their bodies feel good, the seminars are a learning process that gives them fascinating information to take in and help shape their habits.
While the seminars cover not only wide-ranging topics like healthy eating and exercise, they also focus on more specific topics like sleep, sugar and protein.
These seminars can be delivered to staff at the employers’ discretion over a spell of time that can range from weekly to monthly.
Big impact on staff
Mark Sharman, the group managing director of Impact Creative said Fit for Industry had already had an impact on his staff.
“Function Jigsaw have provided back and shoulder massages on a regular basis with minimum disruption and have proved to be very popular and well-received,” he said.
Sunita Patel is senior business development manager at the Curve Theatre in Leicester and said Function Jigsaw had received excellent feedback from the cast of the shows they had worked with.
“Everyone was impressed with Function Jigsaw’s expertise and their professional and personalized service,” she said.
